2011 MEDIA/PRESS ACCREDITATION INSTRUCTIONS 
 
The Long Beach Gospel Fest 
DEADLINE: 3 JULY 2011

 
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING IN THE APPLICATION. APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED WITHOUT ALL REQUIRED ITEMS OR INCOMPLETELY FILLED OUT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
 
Please submit one application per person to be assigned (limited to one reporter and one photographer/videographer).  Those requesting media credentials must be currently employed by a publication or news organization.  We CANNOT issue credentials to sales/advertising or PR/technical staff from any organization. Forms submitted after the July 3, 2011 deadline will not be accepted.
 
Requests for Press Accreditation MUST BE RETURNED with the following information:
 
If you were accredited last year: 
 

• 1. Provide past coverage of last year’s Gospel Fest from assigning publication/media outlet with your by-line or photo credit
• 2. A passport sized emailed jpeg, gif, or tif, ONLY, photograph with name or outlet listed to the press credentials department at media@longbeachgospelfest.com
• 3. A current business card with an editorial title.

 

If you did NOT cover The Long Beach Gospel Fest last year or currently do not have access to last year’s coverage:

• 1. An assignment letter on company letterhead from an editor, producer, or program director that states the intention to publish/air your report(s).
• 2. Two by-line articles/transcripts/tapes covering an event or related arts/entertainment related story.
• 3. A recent copy of your publication or program/program or sample pages from your website
• 4. A passport sized emailed jpeg, gif, or tif, ONLY, photograph with name or outlet listed to the press credentials department at media@longbeachgospelfest.com
  NOTE: photos will NOT be accepted at the Welcome Center.

 
For us to consider your request, you MUST submit all supporting documentation (no exceptions).  Incomplete forms will be returned.  No one under the age of 21 will be admitted.  
 

UPON APPROVAL

A confirmation letter will be emailed or faxed to you. This letter, along with additional identification will be required when picking up your credentials at the official press check-in at the Welcome Center.
